Millions of THANK YOU's are in order!

To everyone at Patchwork Long Beach, Thank you!  You braved the wind, rain and cold and made this Patchwork one to remember!  Ms. Melis and I had a great time.  Thank you to all of our friends and new friends we made, we hope to see you again!

We have a few shows hopefully in the works for this holiday season and as always, I will keep you posted.

Treat Yo Self

There is a certain crispness in the air and the nights are getting longer.  It's fall!  It's my most favorite time of the year! The food is amazing and the best part is my apartment isn't hot!  This comes in handy as I have to have to oven on to cure the clay.  So it makes my second living that much more bearable!

My shipments have come in from Etsy and I'm pretty excited to see what will become of them.  In a few days me stamp should come in.   Custom stamps are the best! I got mine from: Inkorporated on Etsy

Come this Patchwork, this will stamped on all bags along with a custom drawing of a tooth or corn dog.  It's the luck of the draw. 

Speaking of Patchwork this year in Long Beach it falls on November 6th, 2011.  Come see me and as always, Ms. Melis!  It's gonna be a good one.  It will be my first day back from my Portland vaycay.

Back to the Drawing Board

Summer is chugging along and Fall dates for Patchwork have already been announced! So it's back to the drawing board and looking for some Fall and Holiday inspirations to make sure Mind over Manners has the best accessories for all of our friends.  In the meantime check out these photos of some Mind over Manner friends.

A Million Thank Yous!

Dear Friends,

Thank thank thank thank you for the all the support at Patchwork in Long Beach!  Doing well here has given us the confidence to continue with our craft! Thank you to everyone who stopped by and said hello and gave us a chance!  


As for the future, Mind Over Manners will be at The Long Beach Green Fest along side our good friend
Ms. Melis.  Come see us! We make new things constantly and two things are never alike.

Thanks for all the support at Christ Presbyterian Church Craft Fair on Saturday. It was fun!

It was also a learning experience.  I also came up with some new crafty things for the future.

where has the time gone?

So it's been a while since we've come to update the blog. A lot has been going on, lots of stuff. The crafting has been slowing down, but as I settle in there will be more stuff to come. I made some feathers earrings with these new feathers! I think you will enjoy them! I also bought some new colors of clay that I am really excited to use. I also learned to read crochet patterns and I made a beanie! We have some shows lined up and as they get closer we will let you know where and when to find us. For the time being, I'll post up some pictures of what we have. Etsy will FOR SURE be in the future. I keep saying it but this time I mean it!
