Gifts

Yarn and pine from my neighbors yard.  I was severely angry at the price of fake pine on a recent visit to the store. So on a run in the 'hood I found some fallen pine branches. I also used yarn instead of ribbon and a have an old school label maker.

A DIY Charlie Brown Christmas Tree.  The pine branches came from my neighbors yard again!   It cost me like 1 cent to make!  I also made the bow.

Happy Holiday!

RumbleScheme

I am very excited and proud to announce that Mind over Manners is now featured at the RumbleScheme kiosk at the Lab in Costa Mesa.  Right across the way from Eye Society and Arth, RumbleScheme,  is a humble kiosk featuring hand made wares by local and international artists.  I was really excited when Sara approached me at Uptown Village Market and I've been bursting wanting to tell all our friends! I will be dropping by new pieces periodically especially during the holidays. Stop by and say hello to Sara and Dora!  I am honored to be featured with many great artist!

Tiny playable harmonicas!  Each comes with a tiny charm.  How charming!(craft pun)  Mine is a little used and it plays maybe four notes?  I mean how can you hate something that is tiny?

Local and Handmade

In the spirit of supporting local and handmade and to support my hobby, come see Ms. Melis and myself at the Uptown Village Market December 2 and 3rd in the Bixby Knolls neighborhood of Long Beach.
Will I have new stuff?  Of course!  Just last night I made my first bowl of ramen out of clay and I made a realistic looking mushroom. Here is a sneak peek of what you you might see:

Where will you find me?  Booth #18!
